The O35X

The O35X sets a new standard in world-class omnidirectional microphone performance. Engineered for uncompromising accuracy in diverse applications, it features a state-of-the-art precision aged 4.1 mm diaphragm capsule, housed in a precision-machined solid 304 stainless steel body, and powered by the fastest amplifier ever implemented in a microphone. The result is an ultra-wide frequency response from 4 Hz to 35 kHz, with an exceptionally tight tolerance of ±1.25 dB and a stellar linearity across both phase and magnitude.
With a 4.1 mm diaphragm, the O35X delivers the lowest self-noise in its category at just 19 dBA. It also handles distortion-free SPLs up to 137 dB and a maximum SPL of 150 dB, capturing virtually any sound source with realism, accuracy, and zero coloration.
Purpose-built for studio, live, field, and downpitched recordings, it excels at reproducing the natural detail of strings, percussion, woodwinds, and immersive soundscapes with unmatched fidelity.
